7/15/2008.The TriMedia Film Festival call for entries had a fabulous response, and we received a record number of entries this year. We're working hard to get getting the last-minute entries through our screening process, and we'll be notifying the artists who submitted their work this weekend, and announcing the official 2008 schedule soon after that.

TMFF Passes and Opening Premiere/Gala Tickets Go on Sale Starting July 7

6/25/2008.Buy early and save! Advance-purchases VIP and All-Festival passes go on sale at the Lincoln Center Box Office starting July 7. Tickets to the opening premiere film and gala also go on sale. Save up to $15 when you buy now. Discounts are available for students and seniors. Passes will also be sold at the Lyric Cinema Cafe starting August 1.

6/8/2008.The final deadline for entries was June 7, so our call for entries is now closed. Thank you!Thanks to everyone who entered their work the festival this year. Our screeners are busy reviewing the stacks of entries, and we'll be notifying everyone about our selections by July 15, and the official schedule by August 1.

TriMedia Film Festival Announces 2008 Poster Contest Winner

3/1/2008. The TriMedia Film Festival has selected a design by Robin Huber as the winner in the 2008 poster contest. In addition to the $100 prize, her design will serve as the basis for all graphic design for flyers, ads, and postcards for the 2008 event. Look for the poster on a window or bulletin board up and down the Front Range in August. Congratulations to Robin!

TriMedia Film Festival Announces 2008 Poster Contest

Updated 1/21/2008. The TriMedia Film Festival is holding a poster contest (with a $100 cash prize!) for the design of the 2008 festival poster. See all the details here. The deadline for design entries is Friday, 22 February 2008.

1/1/2008. Thanks to everyone who came out on a cold night to see our TriMedia Film Festival showings at Everyday Joe's. It was a pleasure to see old friends and meet new ones, and we hope to see you at the 2008 festival.

2008 Festival Dates Announced

11/10/2007. Horsetooth Productions, the principal organizers of the TriMedia Film Festival, and the TriMedia Film Festival Executive Advisory Board are pleased to announce that the 2008 festival will be held September 5-7, 2008, one week after Labor Day. The call for entries for film, TV, and theatre will open February 1, 2008.

Coming AttractionsThe evening will include 2006 audience favorites such as the documentary Texas Gold detailing one woman's quixotic battle with the Texas petro-chemical industry to clean up her hometown and Truly Committed, a hilarious comedy about modern marriage. The highlight of the evening will be a sneak preview of a 2007 short film entry. All films this evening are rated PG-13 and below. Tickets: $12 adult, $10 senior/student. 6/15/2007. There's no time like the present to submit your film or TV pilot/special to the TriMedia Film Festival, especially since the late-entry deadline is June 30. We'd love to see your work, so get off your duff and enter today!

There's Still Time . . .

Calendar showing May 315/26/2007. There's still time (but not much!) to submit your entry to the TriMedia Film Festival and pay the very reasonable regular fee. Sure, you can procrastinate and wait till the last minute of the last deadline, but it'll cost you a bit more. Besides, if you get it off your "to do" list, then you can go out and play in the sun, or read a good book, or go to your cousin's graduation party without a care in the world.

Just a Month Away For the Regular Submission Deadline

clock with wings4/27/2007. It's only a month until the regular deadline for film entries, and the final deadline for invited theatre entries. We know a whole month seems a long time, but what with all all those things on your "to do" list, and those unexpected little crises, and spring fever and all, May 31 will be here before you know it. Then you'll be kicking yourself because now you have to submit your work as a late entry and pay the higher fee. So save yourself the possible bodily injury and submit today!

FILM (FEATURE, DOCUMENTARY, ANIMATION, INTERNATIONAL)
Shorts (under 30 mins.) & full-length (31+ mins.)
TV PILOTS/TV SPECIALS
Short (under 30 mins.) & long (31-120 mins.)
THEATRE -- By Invitation Only**
Scripts (5 to 20 minutes)

2007 TriMedia Film Festival Call for Entries Coming Soon

2/5/2007. TriMedia Film Festival will be announcing the Call For Entries around Februrary 12, 2007. We had an excellent program last year for our inaugural event, and we plan to continue that trend and make it a tradition for the TriMedia Film Festival. We're really looking foward to screening new films and TV specials/pilots in the coming months.
 
We'll be back at the Lincoln Center and the popular Everyday Joe's, plus we have some new venues in the works. As we have news, we'll post it here.

Dates Announced for 2007 TriMedia Film Festival

1/5/2007. The TriMedia Film Festival, a community event by Horsetooth Productions, will be held September 7-9, 2007, in Old Town Fort Collins. Late summer in Northern Colorado is a wonderful time of year -- it's not too hot, and not yet cold. Mark your calendars now for THE event of the year.
