* The Jury Award for Best Documentary was given to “Wood” by David Fenster.
* The Audience Choice Award for Best Short Comedy Film was given to “Time Freak,” written and directed by Andrew Bowler.
* The Jury Award for Best Short Comedy Film was given to “Sudden Death!” written and directed by Adam Hall.
* The Audience Choice Award for Best International Film was given to “Love at First Sight,” directed by Michael Davies.
* The Jury Award for Best International Film was given to “Frog in the Well,” directed by Ken Ochiai.
* The Audience Choice Award for Best Short Narrative Film was given to “Cataplexy,” directed by John Salcido.
* The Jury Award for Best Short Narrative Film was given to “Touch,” directed by Jen McGowan.
* The Audience Choice Award for Best Student Film was given to “Shattered,” by Shirley Lewis.
* The Jury Award for Best Student Film was given to “Words of a Poetaster,” by Ian Welty.
* The Audience Choice Award for Best Theatre was given to “Dracula and the Writing Coach,” written by Judy Fort Brenneman.
* The Jury Award for Best Theatre was given to “Call Me Bill,” written by T. David Rutherford.
* The Audience Choice Award for Best TV Pilot or Special was given to “Carroll Gardens,” produced by Robin Reed.
* The Jury Award for Best TV Pilot or Special was given to “The MisInventions of Milo Weatherby,” written and directed by William Whirity.
* The Jury Award for Best Film/TV Actor was given to Lily Knight in “Touch.”
* The Jury Award for Best Theatre Actor was given to Kathy Cagney in “Forever Young.”
In addition to the jury and audience choice awards, the TriMedia Film Festival announced Jonathan Rhys Davies as its 2011 Trailblazer Award Winner. The Trailblazer Award recognizes an individual whose contributions are making an impact in the industry; who has shown leadership in advancing the arts; or who charts an innovative path though unexplored territory and encourages and blazes a trail for others.
The 6th annual TriMedia Film Festival showcased independent short and feature films; documentaries; original theatre performances; and television specials and pilots at venues in downtown Fort Collins.
